Enjoy a definitive look at Tenerife – from its quaint seaside villages to its soaring inland mountains – and come away with a remarkably complete understanding of this largest of the Canary Islands. The views will be especially stunning as you ride a cable car along the lunar-like volcanic slopes of Mount Teide, the highest point in Spain. DAY 1

Upon arriving at the Tenerife Airport, you will be met outside the luggage claim area. Please look for someone holding a sign with the cruise line logo.

You will then be transferred to the Iberostar Selection Anthelia Hotel or a similar hotel, where you will spend the evening. Meals will be on your own today.

DAY 2

Following breakfast at the hotel, you will set off on a Heritage and Wine tour from Costa Adeje to the historic village La Laguna, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its architectural splendor and cultural significance.

Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the charm of La Laguna with a guided walk through its winding streets lined with centuries-old buildings. Explore the unique blend of colonial and Canarian architecture while learning about the city’s pivotal role in shaping the island’s identity.

You will next venture to picturesque El Sauzal, home to the esteemed Bodegas Monje. Indulge in a delectable lunch paired with exquisite wines produced by the renowned Monje family. Discover the secrets of winemaking while gaining insight into Tenerife’s winemaking heritage.

Afterwards, you will journey to the vibrant coastal town of Puerto de la Cruz. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along its charming promenades, soak in breathtaking ocean views and explore its lively streets filled with shops, cafes and historic landmarks. You will have free time to wander at your own pace, perhaps indulging in some local delicacies or shopping.

As the day draws to a close, relax and unwind on the drive back to your hotel in Costa Adeje, while you will spend another delightful evening.

DAY 3

Early in the afternoon, you will head to Mount Teide, a majestic volcanic peak towering over the island of Tenerife. It presents a captivating setting for an afternoon adventure.

The drive to the base of the mountain will be filled with anticipation, the air tinged with the scent of pine forests and the promise of adventure. Boarding the cable car, you will ascend effortlessly, leaving the earth below to shrink into miniature. The panoramic views will unfold before you, revealing the vast expanse of the island below and the azure waters of the Atlantic stretching to the horizon. The towering peak rises majestically against the backdrop of the deep blue sky, its rugged slopes etched with shadows cast by the setting sun. You will pause to take in the breathtaking vistas, capturing the moment with photographs that will serve as lasting mementos.

After soaking in the mesmerizing views and the natural wonders of Teide National Park, you will make your way to Hotel Villalba for an unforgettable dining experience. Explore its cobbled streets adorned with centuries-old buildings and discover iconic landmarks such as the natural rock pools and the charming harbor.

Continuing on, you will travel to the Mirador of Garachico, a scenic viewpoint offering panoramic vistas of the rugged coastline and the Atlantic Ocean. There, amidst breathtaking views, you will be served a selection of Canarian cheeses created especially for you. Afterwards, you will enjoy a delightful lunch of local delicacies while soaking in the tranquil ambiance.

Following lunch, you will bid farewell to Garachico and drive to the bustling Santa Cruz harbor, where your ship will be waiting for you to start your cruise adventure.

• The summit of the Mount Teide is a restricted area and it will not be included in the tour.

• This tour is not recommended for guests with walking difficulties due to the amount of walking and types of surfaces.

• A warm jacket recommended as the temperatures can be cooler at higher altitudes. From October to April the temperatures can reach below freezing.

• It is forbidden to remove any stones or plants from the National Park.

• This excursion will travel up some mountain roads to approximately 7,000 feet above sea level.

• This tour is not recommended for pregnant women, infants under the age of 1 year, or passengers who suffer from heart problems or have previously undergone heart surgery, or have respiratory problems including asthma.

• Comfortable, flat, walking shoes are recommended.

• This tour is subject to weather conditions and its itinerary may vary.

• The cable car may be closed at any time due to weather conditions. If so, there will be an alternative itinerary.

Land Program Details Step by Step

• The order of sites visited may vary to avoid congestion. Program times are approximate, given here for general reference purposes and subject to change.

• Itineraries with up-to-date details will be issued when you are emailed your final cruise documents 21 days prior to sailing. You will then receive a final itinerary from our ground operator with a Welcome Letter upon arrival or at the hotel. Please review the letter and your final itinerary carefully for further amendments.

• The hotels used for your land program will be the hotels listed in this document unless you have been advised otherwise in advance of the land program start date.

• Guests failing to arrive on Day 1 of a scheduled land program will be considered no-shows and their hotel space released.

Extra Nights

• All extra nights booked through the cruise line are confirmed at the hotel that is used on the FIRST NIGHT of your land program

• If you book extra nights through the cruise line, you will be met as per the flight details provided and transferred to your hotel. Check-in is 3:00pm (subject to change). Meals other than breakfast, as well as activities, are on your own until Day 2 of the program.

• If you have an early-arriving flight, you may wish to book an extra night as your room will not be ready for occupation until approximately 3:00pm.

• If you book extra nights on your own, transfers are not included.

DAY 1

Arrive at the Tenerife Airport and transfer in a private vehicle to the Iberostar Selection Anthelia Hotel for a 3:00 pm check-in. Although rooms may be available before then, this cannot be guaranteed.

If you have an early arrival, you may wish to book an extra night, so a room is ready upon your arrival.

Meals will be on your own and the evening will be at your leisure.

Meet and Greet and transfers

• Final cruise documents will be emailed 21 days prior to sailing. The local ground agent’s telephone number will be on page 1 if you can’t locate the meet-and-greet representative upon arrival. Be aware that the representative may be assisting others and may not be in sight when you first exit Customs and the luggage claim area.

• Look for someone holding a sign with the cruise line logo and possibly your name. If in doubt, ask the airport staff to direct you to the meeting area for transfers or to page our representative.

• Meet and Greet and transfers are arranged for guests arriving on Day 1 of a land program or for extra nights booked through the cruise line and are arranged based on the flight details received by guests at least 14 days before sailing. Transfers are not included for guests arriving independently before the program start date.

• If we have not received your flight details or your flights have changed, and the Destination Services Land Team has not been notified, then a transfer cannot be provided and guests will be responsible for getting to the land program hotel at their own expense. Please immediately contact our Reservations Department for any flight changes before departure.
